Nobody knows your students more than you, and given our 30-year experience and track record in developing curricula and course books, we are ready to help you put together a course book or reader catered to your students’ levels, capabilities and context. Our experience will ensure it will be a smooth and punctual process that will best serve your students whether you want to cultivate their language, writing, or critical thinking skills. We will offer support and guidance throughout the entire process, helping your department create the most meaningful and relatable book for your students.

EDITION 3 | 2018

Pages Apart

Today, we have proudly partnered our third such custom made anthology that includes work by international and local writers alike as well as authorial notes, questions, and more written and designed by the editors.

We would be pleased if we could take the time, at your convenience, to show you our new publication, Pages Apart, so that you can see the possibilities of your department’s very own book, edited by your faculty.

EDITION 2 | 2015

Shifting Narratives

Shifting Narratives was our second edition for the AUB Academic Reader and AUB’s fourth. In Shifting Narratives readers encounter a wide variety of texts written for a range of academic and popular audiences, which together raise questions about what it means to be an active participant in the world. Readers are prompted to re-consider questions of how they engage with their society and represent it. The texts encourage readers to re-examine their deepest convictions about what it means to be here and now, possibly helping to shift the narratives that define their rapidly evolving lives.

EDITION 1 | 2012

After Words

After Words  was our first edition for the AUB Academic Reader and AUB’s third. In After Words readers encounter a wide variety of texts written for a range of academic and popular audiences, which together raise questions about what it means to be an active participant in the world. Readers are prompted to consider questions of identity, Arab culture and history, gender and sexuality, social (in)justice, and the ever-changing technologies surrounding us. The texts encourage readers to consider what comes next, after words.

We would be pleased if we could take the time, at your convenience, to show you our new publication, Pages Apart, so that you can see the possibilities of your department’s very own book, edited by your faculty.
